About Hanwell
Hanwell is nestled within the London Borough of Ealing and the origin of its name it is still unclear. The area surely does not lack places of interest. The ancient parish church St Mary’s Church was built in 1841 of Gothic Revival style.
It is believed that the wall paintings were done by the quite well known artist William Frederick Yeames.
