About Finchley
Finchley is a district of north-west London, England and it is within the London Borough of Barnet. It used to form a parish in the historic county of Middlesex. The area became a municipal borough in 1933 and it became part of the British capital 32 years later. It is mostly a residential district with North Finchley, East Finchley and Finchley Church End being its town centres.
There is a number of landmarks in Finchley including the parish church of St Mary’s. Some of its parts are dating from the 13th century.
